aim 5 2 install

How do I get AIM 5.2 to work on Windows Vista. I will not install triton.

EDIT: I guess ill just use gaim... unless someone has a solution

I have been using 5.5.3599 (from oldversion.com). When you get the compatibility message saying it won't work, there's a button you can press that will continue anyway.
It is hit and miss ... sometimes it will run just fine, other times it won't come up at all.

Are you kidding me. Its a resource hog that can lag out of chats very eaisly.
Gaim is better when you cant get the proper aim client.
